ECM REGULATION 2019/779: IT'S GETTING SERIOUS

The new ECM Regulation (ECM (EU) 2019/779) came into force in June 2020. In the course of this, companies were offered a transition period, which now ends on June 16, 2022. More than 700 companies have already been certified since then, or have renewed or changed their certification.

Due to the EU Regulation 445/2011 implemented by the commission, the so called “Entity in Charge for Maintenance (ECM)” came into effect. A system used for certifying “entities in charge of maintenance for freight wagons”.

Rail Asset: Compatible with Calipri measurement data

Full interface flexibility: BOOM software provides this especially in the module Rail Asset. BOOM has implemented its own interface for the auto-import of data from the globally operating measurement technology company NEXTSENSE. This allows automated import of measurements from the Calipri measuring device into Rail Asset.
