Stadtwerke Bonn (SWB) will continue to rely on us as their software partner in the future

With a fleet of more than 100 rail vehicles and more than 200 buses, as well as a 125-km rail network, SWB Bus und Bahn  keeps people moving across Bonn and the surrounding region.

After running a custom asset management software solution developed and maintained by us since 2011, an additional need for digital workshop processes and mobile usability led 𝘚𝘞𝘉 to take the next step with a holistic standardized solution  – with the added benefit of continuous innovation and built-in industry expertise.

Following a comprehensive tendering process, the decision was once again made in favor for Boom: We’re thrilled to keep public transport in Bonn running smoothly with our Boom Bus & Rail Solutions.

SWB now benefits from a comprehensive software for vehicle-, workshop-, and infrastructure management that enables:

  • Lean maintenance processes without media discontinuities
  • Increased transparency in maintenance management to reduce asset downtimes
  • Seamless integration with existing IT systems such as SAP S/4HANA, eliminating data silos or duplicate entries
  • A stronger focus on its core business thanks to simplified administration and documentation

This ensures that buses and rail services remain punctual and reliable, while Stadtwerke Bonn becomes even more efficient and future-proof.
