Efficient railway infrastructure management

Our solution for the digital maintenance of railway infrastructure provides the foundation for a unified, structured management system and efficient maintenance of your railway assets by accurately mapping asset and component structures as well as maintenance processes. A consistent and simple approach ensures that railway infrastructure is efficiently managed and continuously optimized throughout its entire lifecycle.

Effective digitalization of maintenance processes

Our Rail Infrastructure Management module supports optimized planning and monitoring of maintenance and inspection activities. It helps identify potential faults at an early stage and directly convert them into corresponding work orders. Through integrated work order management, resources such as personnel, materials, and tools can be planned and coordinated efficiently.

Work orders are sent directly to technicians, who can fully document their activities—including measurement results and resource usage. With seamless documentation, the software ensures efficient fault resolution, timely execution of maintenance activities, and the economical use of all resources.

A joint venture between Boom Software and voestalpine Railway Systems

The Rail Infrastructure Management module is provided in cooperation with voestalpine Digital Track Management. The joint venture, founded by Boom and voestalpine Railway Systems, is redefining digital infrastructure management for railways and public transport. At its core is the development of a digital twin of railway infrastructure assets, which combines real-time data with precise predictions and provides maintenance recommendations based on the condition of the assets.
